If you're a High School Sports fan, sports announcer or sports media outlet - you want to keep up with scores as they happen. Right? And that isn't an easy task, is it? Tweet My Score aims to provide a centralized system to help ease that process by using today's free online technology and a network of ScoreKeepers. With the Tweet My Score Network the days of calling around hunting for score updates or scanning radio channels in hopes of finding an update (that might never come) are over! What is Tweet My Score? Tweet My Score is a network of "Scores Only" high school sports Twitter accounts that let you follow just the high school teams you are interested in and get Scores Only updates for just those teams. No annoying comments or news to sort through. Just scores for just the teams you are interested in. Yes, we are designed to be nationwide but no, you do not have to sort through a nations worth of team scores to find the teams you want to follow. (CLICK HERE to Register to be a ScoreKeeper in the TMS Network now) How does the Tweet My Score system work? The Tweet My Score Network is a collaborative process that relies on the collaboration and commitment of "On The Ground ScoreKeepers". An On The Ground ScoreKeeper is someone who maintains a Twitter account for a specific High School team and agrees to provide regular "Scores Only" updates to the account during every game. This is done via text, SMS or online update. (easy to do!) We provide free tech support to the On The Ground ScoreKeepers who want or need it. How does the Tweet My Score system benefit me? By using the Tweet My Score team directory, finding the teams you want to follow and setting up your own "Scores Only" Twitter account you can follow just the teams that interest you and receive up to the minute scores updates throughout the season. This is great for high school sports fans, high school sports game announcers, high school sports radio announcers and high school sports oriented websites. With your own Twitter account following just the teams that interest you, you can get notifications via text, email or online. If you maintain a website, you can utilize an RSS feed to pump those live scores right into your site. How much does it cost to use the Tweet My Score system? Nothing. Nada. Zip. How can I become an On The Ground ScoreKeeper? Great. We want to work with you. First thing we need you to do is review the simple guidelines for Scores Only twitter accounts. If you agree and are willing to commit to following those guidelines we want to hear from you. If you already have a Twitter account set up we will just plug it into the directory. If you need some help setting up a new Twitter account or want some help customizing it - we're here and ready to help. Contact us now - let's get started. I just want to follow some teams. How do I do that? Our easy to follow How To Guides provide the simple steps you will take to start getting live score updates for the teams you want to follow. Will you be listing every school in every state? We will build the directory as we secure participating ScoreKeepers. The Tweet My Score Network kicked off in Georgia for the 2009 Football Season and is intended to work for every school, every team and every score. If your high school team is not in our network yet and you would like to get it rolling, please contact us so we can get your team listed. Don't be discouraged if your state is not live yet. Someone has to be first! Send us an inquiry and we will set your state up now. What happens if Twitter has a service interruption? Alas, we cannot control everything, now can we? Tweet My Score is not affiliated with Twitter in any shape, form or fashion. There WILL be an outage now and then. We support the technology Twitter provides and we're thankful that we can use it to help sports fans get the information they want. We hope the Twitter service does not experience an interruption that hampers your ability to get scores but if it happens, we have no control over it. With free technology comes a little blind faith. Ok, a lot of blind faith on some days. But it is free, afterall. More questions? Contact us... we'd be happy to hear from you! |
